My food motivations are a love of baking, combined with a lack of time and patience; a desire to live a healthy life; and a love of hospitality and sharing.
I also love stories and believe firmly that food can be a medium to tell them.
I work in admin by day, cook dinner by night and bake by weekend.
I harbour a range of academic interests which I’ve pursued to Master’s level, namely gender history, the First World War, memory and representation, war and the family, and the commercial women’s press. When not musing on any of the above, I’m usually thinking about food.
While undertaking my undergraduate degree, I co-founded our university’s now sadly-defunct Food Appreciation Society, and acted as its President and, later, Secretary. I now organise a monthly dinner party club of sorts with my friends.
I live in London. I can be reached at chloe@musingsondinner.com
hi, part of your “about” sounds very similar 🙂
And I love the subtitle of your blog. Following you to see what dinner you have will come up with.
Thank you! I’ve been away and occupied lately but will be back to posting soon. I love the creativity of your blog!
